swapping out mpu boards in S plus
« on: October 06, 2017, 08:43:57 PM »
We have two S plus machines a Double Diamond Deluxe and a Triple double Diamond both have SP731. Having problems getting the Triple Double machine working, so we put the board from the Double Diamond in the TDD to see if it would work. Now when we put the board back into the DD will it effect anything? Will we need to clear or reset anything? Please advise.

Well after installing the board back in what was the working machine it is showing code "3100" and then changes to "1" then back to 3100 and so on. Could it be in a test mode or accounting ? Could someone please walk me thru how to fix this. or what to check. Oh and the door optics were just replaced, could that have anything to do with it?

Common IGT S+ error codes and their resolutions are found here:

If opening and closing the door doesn't resolve the problem, are you positive that the new door optics are installed correctly?  Stupidly the emitter and receiver have the same plug, so it's possible to install them backwards by mistake.
