The 6000 lock will not fit the E-series. This link is to seller “zapage” on EBay who sells the correct lock with the correct cam. https://www.ebay.com/itm/185019986552?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=cCC42UL3Rn-&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=lUIUjtr-RXK&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Moved to Reel Touch
That would indicate that the top box appears to be working correctly.
What does the VFD say.
Problem may be in the lower mpu.

Right now for this project i will need Electromechanical hopper.  I am buying a motor for mine from Don Lee and will see how that goes.

So, I have this piece of plastic and damn it's ugly. I decided to put it in the dishwasher and see what happens. And yes I removed it from the steel plate.  :Tongue_Out:

Bally Alpha Reel Games / Bally Black and White Jackpot Quick Hits
« Last post by kmarrocco on Today at 07:06:33 PM »
Hello,
I recently picked up a Bally Black and White Jackpot Quick Hits machine.  There seems to be a problem with the display.  But when I hook up an external monitor I can see that I am getting an NVRAM error.   Can you please help me understand what to check/test?   Also, any ideas on common display problems?   I am hoping that I won't need to buy a complete replacement display.   Thank you.

I've checked into it.

I traced it back to the CPU board, it's labeled "IR DET M+ (SERV/CHG) S" on the schematic. The plug is a live input to the CPU and I'm assuming it is for an input device mounted in the place of the SERV/CHG switch. Sending pulses from the plug to the CPU did nothing.
