Thank you for the help! I released the levers and pulled but I guess not hard enough! If I have any more questions I will post them in the proper forum. Thanks again!

It seems to be running perfectly, other than it looks as though someone cut a bell wire. I need to pull reels for access, and am not sure how or if I can do it without any readjustment.

It's fairly common for people to cut the bell wire as it's really too loud in a home setting.  I just packed and stuffed foam against the bell to greatly reduce the racket.

As far as reel mech goes, there are two levers (one on each side of the lower front of the reel frame.  You pull both forward and down so they unlatch from the shelf and then just pull on the whole assembly to slide it out of the machine.  This will require no re-adjustment of any kind.  One lever is shown at about the 0:45 second mark of this video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uaafBYf4eck.

As it is working, if you still have questions, I'd suggest you request a moderator to move this thread to the Bally EM forum or mark this one closed and start a new thread in that forum.

They make a variety of decent plastic paints. Might be the best way.
Or try some car cleaner/wax. I use mine for plastic all the time. There's also Novus makes a great plastic polish which I use for my antique phones. But something like this doesn't need to be too perfect! I'd try cleaner wax first.

  thanks.

Drill out the rivets, clean and paint. Use aluminum rivets when reinstalling

I all ready removed the plastic from the steel plate.

I have a plethora of tools, and I appreciate your input.  :thank_you:

IGT S and S-plus Reel Games / Re: IGT Double diamond S Plus, RESTORATION
« Last post by David Walz on Yesterday at 06:15:43 PM »
Hopefully you can get that corrosion/rust off it. Hope it's just on the surface and not pitted.
And definitely hope it's not a "Katrina" machine!  :arrowthruhead:

You know that its easy peasy for me, all ready removed the rust, now its a matter of restoration. Tally-ho the fun is just beginning.  :snoopy4: :snoopy4: :snoopy4:

IGT S2000 and Vision Games / Identify S2000 Board game
« Last post by Akriegs on Yesterday at 06:15:01 PM »
i had a working S2000 .25 slot machine this morning. I received a new Gen2 printer today and tested in my working S2000 machine. I took to my new slot and added it and thought it may work because a printer was installed at 1 time a while back. I hot cash out and the issues started. my frist error was call attendant hopper empty. I went thought the options in setting #3 and found nothing. I purchased a key chip recently (17 and 97) installed on the board and nothing happened. I put the game chip back and when it boots up it now say call attendant i hot the reset button a few times and it now says game type mismatch. Things i noticed. during bootup it was showing 1 cent as denom and acting like a multi denom machine. I was able to get to the options menu but it only gives me options 1 2 and 4. no number 3 game options. Am i using the correct key chip for this board. I cant find the model but it looks like a 1952XXX board. I am not sure if i can post youtube link but if its not barred please check the link below.

I also have 2 other 1952-2 and 1952-0 boards is it alright if i swap the chips to this other board?

:thank_you: everyone, I will toss this one. I am rebuilding the slot machine.  :thank_you:

So that would be a cc-33 not a cc-16

If you want to use quarters you will also need to look at the hopper too.
It would have a large wheel for dollar ls vs one designed for quarters.

No hopper I need to pick one up later on.

Bally Reel Games / Bill validator issue on Bally S6000
« Last post by Coloradonewbie on Yesterday at 05:59:22 PM »
Help!!
Fixing Bally 6000.
Machine works but.
I close the door, the bill valudator light goes green. While it's green it will take bills. The problem is it only stays green briefly before it goes red.
Another important thing after I play the light goes green then back to red

I'm thinking it's a sensor or connection. Maybe it thinks the cash door is open. The machine works if it has credits on it.
