It seems to be running perfectly, other than it looks as though someone cut a bell wire. I need to pull reels for access, and am not sure how or if I can do it without any readjustment.
It's fairly common for people to cut the bell wire as it's really too loud in a home setting. I just packed and stuffed foam against the bell to greatly reduce the racket.
As far as reel mech goes, there are two levers (one on each side of the lower front of the reel frame. You pull both forward and down so they unlatch from the shelf and then just pull on the whole assembly to slide it out of the machine. This will require no re-adjustment of any kind.
