New to Selling. Not sure what price to set on E-Bay.
« on: October 11, 2016, 08:36:08 PM »
Preface: I would rather sell on here with the real enthusiasts, but I don't know how to become a contributing member.

I've been sitting on some software for a couple of years, but have recently had some medical issues and wanted to see what I could get for it on E-Bay.
I have a a bit of mostly WMS & Bally CF cards, but from what I'm seeing, the WMS dongle games are bringing the most right now. I went through the box that, I think, has all those types, and I found the following...

L'il Red (D5A4-000-1010)
Robin Hood and the Golden Arrow (D57D-000-1040C9)
Napoleon & Josephine (D67C-000-1030C9)
Epic Monopoly (S69C-000-1020)
Bier Haus (D6C3-000-1030C9)
Invaders of the Planet Wombat (S69D-000-1010C0)
Colossal Wizards (D8A0-000-1010)
The Princess Bride (D64B-000-1010)

They are all H13.33 used Game CFs with USB dongles and adapter board only.
What prices should I ask for these? Thanks.

Like I said, I have more in this box (like 6 WMS SSSG-000-1696 OS cards), but I know those don't bring as much.
Evidence below.
If only I knew then what I know now.

L'il Red (D5A4-000-1010)
Robin Hood and the Golden Arrow (D57D-000-1040C9)
Napoleon & Josephine (D67C-000-1030C9)

Bier Haus (D6C3-000-1030C9)
Invaders of the Planet Wombat (S69D-000-1010C0)
Colossal Wizards (D8A0-000-1010)
The Princess Bride (D64B-000-1010)

Epic Monopoly is the one title you have that can fetch a good penny.  I think the last one I saw sold for about 1K, but it included the belly glass and the led driver board (about $100 worth). So around $900 based on the last sale price.  This is a leased title, and not many around.

The colossal titles (Wizards and Lil Red) around $350-$450.  Although there was a Colossal wizard on e-bay recently that sold for $250.  (A couple of years ago these were the hot titles, selling around $600-$800, but casinos started retiring these and they were not as scarce anymore, still considered premium titles, but they are not difficult to come by now)

Princess Bride between $250 to $325 depending on demand.

The others are considered common titles and around $175 to $225 for those is about what you should expect.

Remember that e-bay takes off 10% out of the selling price plus there's paypal fees, so keep that into consideration and price a bit higher to cover those costs accordingly.  If you can sell some here, you'll save at least the 10% e-bay fees.
If you find the site helpful, consider becoming a contributing member.  It pays for costs and keeps this site alive.  I do not respond to requests for private, one-on-one help. Your questions should be posted in the appropriate forum where they may help others as well.

I had no idea they were that much. I think I'll hold off on listing them there, and become a Contributing member on Friday when I have a little money. It looks like it'll be worth it, plus it will give me a chance to get everything in order and in some sort of spreadsheet. These were in the same box with the dongle games.
If only I knew then what I know now.
