IGT s plus Spin reels button/ handel issue

I have a IGT s plus double double diamond 3 coin. I can't use the spin reels button or handel before I have push the one credit button. Then I have do that the spin reels button lights up. I have credit on the machine, but have to push one credit again to use handel or spin reels button...

That's the way it's suppose to be. On the S2000 platform there is a respin setting to bypass that, but I'm not sure if s+ offers the option

Correct, the vast majority of S+ SP chips require you to either insert a coin, or press "Bet 1 Credit" one or more times before you can press the Spin Reels button or pull the handle.  That is normal behavior.
