Looks like someone cut and repaired the orange wires. It is the green that usually burn. The front of your plug looks super white. You need to pull it off from the MB to see if it is burnt. If the machine is turned on, are the reels stiff or turn freely?

Can you post a closeup photo of this molex connector so we know what you have and what you need to do?

Here is a photo of the connector. Is it bad or not?

The connector housing (white plastic part) is not bad and there is no need to replace it except for appearance reasons. But it shows a browned area that indicates that 1 contact inside the connector housing has been over heated. You can remove that contact while it is still attached to its green wire and inspect it, possibly clean it with something by scraping off the tarnished surface of the contact. I'd try something like fine sandpaper, small file or knife blade. The tarnish can not be removed with liquid like contact cleaner or simply wiping it with a paper towel.

If you are not able to clean the contact well enough then you cut it off from the green wire. Then remove some of the green insulation (about  1/4 inch) and attach a new contact to the freshly exposed wire. The new contact can be crimped to the wire but you would need the correct crimping tool. As an alternative you can solder the new contact to the wire.

The contact is held inside the white housing by a springy leg or clip that is part of the contact. You can depress it slightly thru a small opening on the side of the white housing and pull the contact out of the housing. To reinsert the contact simply orient it correctly and slide it into the housing until you hear it lock into place.

There is probably a video on youtube showing how to work with these type connectors. They are commonly called Molex connectors, after the name of a prominent company that makes them. If you are not able to do this repair then find an electrician in your area, he will probably be able to do it for you.

Below is a photo of a typical Molex contact, you can see the little spring arm that locks the contact into place when it is inside the connector housing. To remove the contact your press in on the spring arm and slide the contact out of the connector housing. This is easily done while the wire is still attached to the contact since you can pull on the wire while pressing in on the spring arm.

Keep in mind that this overheated contact was mated with a male pin on the motherboard when the connector is plugged in. That male pin probably also has tarnish and should be cleaned. Repair should be done to both the connector contact and the male pin it connects to. Look for darkened areas on the male pin midway along its length, that is where the female contact inside the white connector touches the male pin on the motherboard.

That is the tell tale sign. Very minor color. Do you know how to use a very small probe to remove the pin from the connector? You can remove the pin and replace it with a better pin. The original pins only touch 1 side of the MB pin. The new ones touch 3 sides. One of our long time members has this listed  http://www.ebay.com/itm/IGT-SLOT-MACHINE-S-plus-POWER-CONNECTOR-REPAIR-KIT-/152386783386?hash=item237af5c89a:g:EgcAAOSwt5hYcOTs

How did you get to that assumption? Yes it is burnt and needs repair. You have been told how to remove the connector from the molex. Remove it, clean it, bend it, replace it, whatever it takes to get a good contact.

I am willing to help you as I stated earlier if you want. The connector is not bad, and the pin for the darker area on the white plug, only seems to be a little faulty and I cant see that this is a fix to a machine not working. It will help it in the future but the look of it, doesn't show a problem. Very easy to replace the pin inside the white connector. PM me and I will provide a # to reach me at one more time.
