Trouble codes 15 and 95??? What are they?
« on: September 04, 2017, 09:25:09 AM »
Looking for information on solving trouble codes 15 and 95 on an IGT S-Plus slot machine. I am unable to find these codes on the trouble code list for this machine. Can anyone help?
Thanks.
Jerry

Are these error codes displaying on the front digital display? Can you post a photo showing them? Those codes remind me more of Bally errors than IGT??

Hi,
Thanks, for your reply. I am trying to find an answer for a friend. I have asked him to send me a picture that you have asked for. Still waiting for his reply.
Regards,
Jerry

I have never seen those codes associated with a S+ machine.  I'm guessing that those are amounts of coin in the winner paid window, and amounts paid.

e.g.  won 95 credits, machine paid out  15  or something to that effect.

Jim...you were right on.  15 was winner paid amount.....not too sure about the 95 though.
Here is what I was told had happened......... The machine decided that it should empty the hopper all by itself. The number of coins that emptied out of the hopper was something like 300 plus. The tower light then was blinking, and my friend thought that the machine was out of order. After your posting, I called him and asked what symbols were on the pay line. He had a bar, a double bar and another single bar......a 15 coin winner. I asked him if the insert coin light was lit and he said that it was. I told him to put a coin in and see if it would be accepted......it was. and the machine played. Now he said that the dash lights were not lighting up. I had him put a bill in and it put up credits. Now the lights were lit and it played, and all is good ...... for now. But.......why did the hopper empty out on it's own in the first place? ??? ?? That is a mystery.
Thanks again Jim, for your help!
Regards,
Jerry

This is pretty interesting. Have him keep you/us posted on future happenings. Sounds like an accidental cash out but it paid way over. That should have given an error code for Extra coin out (3100). Maybe the brake stuck and to clear that code, you open and close the door. He may have done that and cleared the code and didn't realize it. If it does something like that again, he may want to check the hopper brake and clean if necessary. Also check the spring if it is broke or loose. But that's a lot of coins to overpay.

Credit limit might be 100 ? Any winning combinations that put credits over 100 are paid out from the hopper?  Had 95 credits. Won 15 credits on the bars. That puts it over 100 so it pays 15 credits automatically from the hopper and the credits remain at 95.
