Title: Monitor Repair
Post by: JDKMunch on July 28, 2017, 07:22:11 AM
Anyone have any experience with monitor repair?

my avp top monitor just totally died last night.    I have another machine and the power brick mounted on the back of the top box is in fact working.   It powers the other monitor with no problem.   Also the power brick from the other machine won't power the monitor.

this worked perfectly . if your monitor appears dead - with no power at all

C515 and C517 (100mfd x 16v) both read good on the "cap wizard" in circuit but didn't even move the needle once removed.[/size]Replaced both, Works fine now.
