Newbie with a Olympic problem
« on: August 05, 2014, 04:54:28 PM »

Hi anyone I am a newbie and this is my first slot machine that I admore and want
to get it up and running (if possible).
I hope you can understand this post
I have a Olympic Slot Machine (aus) that
has the game Flamenco dancer  1996?  boards and
have been looking for a manual or
anything that will help me. Does anybody
know where I can find information on it
especially the logic board and O/I card.

My machine has the following:

Monitor p/n crt10 toshiba A51KSV 42X01
Monitor PCB p/n m0010 Entron ET 999A

Olympic Video Gaming OA2 logic board REV
1.5 (April 11 1996) PCBM 52/1.5 ENG3304E

Has NSW on the chips

Olympic Video Gaming O/I Card 1995 V2.1
(10 Nov 1995) I/OCARD PCBM47

There is small PCB board that sit on top ofthe front end of the logic board which has
TS 94V 9625 on it. It has 2 soldered batteries, 1 green LED and is connected
with the J4 slot and connects to the PCB
board that is under the logic tray

Olympic Supply p/n 190/26
Power Save box with the Main switch
s7 Microcoin coin acceptor
JCM WB-11-SS Bill Acceptor
and a small PCB board with LEDs which is
under the main logic tray which connect to
the small PCB connected the main board.

I'm having trouble with my monitor at the moment which is turning on but
no display after I took it apart and cleaned it , when I first got it, it needed a RAM CLEAR REQUIRED.

I need some info (manuals etc) on this
machine.
what Clear chips I need and programmer.

What could I upgrade to If I can upgrade

as the small PCB board has corroded.

Any info would be a great help.

Dee :-)

This may be a tough one.
Best I can find so far is a thread from the archive NLG site. One member "SS308" had clear chips but you'll have to contact him... and hope he's still around!
Here's the thread:

I can't get any contact info from the old site though! You may want to read through all his posts and see if any e mail shows up. I'll check here on the new site and see if he's registered.
UPDATE! He's here and he's active! Send him a PM... his profile link is below. But, have him reply on the forum so we can see the progress... or not... of your machine. Good luck!  :applause:

Hi Darlene,
not much chance of getting it going sorry, my clear chips only suit pre X series Olympics, yours is an X series 2000.
The daughter board will be the hardest thing to get replaced/repaired, I threw out same machine last year.
If it only says RAM clear required that can be done without clear chips as not required the ram clear button is on the mainboard but honestly dont think it will help.
Another member who is in Moss Vale NSW could have spares his user name is mazwreck, he might be able to help as he has one of your models currently.

cheers,
SS308

If it locks up in setup screen after a ram clear boards stuffed and nearly impossible to find a replacement now also looking at that add on pcb its got acid damage from the old battery which means throw in the bin can't be repaired. best of using the cabinet for a mame project/jukebox or just selling it as it for spares

Cheers
