IGT AVP License dongle
« on: March 09, 2014, 03:10:25 PM »
I recently picked up a IGT AVP and it's great... I decided to clear it for the first time last night
and ever since then I've had some problems.

I managed to solve everything except my license dongle intermittently fails. Sometimes it'll
run for 5 minutes and then indicate my license is invalid. Other times it runs file without a problem.

I can reproduce it %100 of the time by inserting and removing the key chip. Every time it is
removed the red license screen pops up and it indicates it can't find a valid license. However,
before I remove the key chip I can look at the game's license information and it indicates the
license is indeed valid.

I'm really confused!  :Scratch-Head:

I was able to solve this. It turns out the license dongle is time sensitive. If you clear your
machine and the clock isn't set right - the license will register as invalid.  :banghead:

GOOD FOR YOU.

Where is the time button onscreen to change the time?.

I've looked through the attendant screen.  but couldn't find it.

I have a dongle with the license it came with,
but I don't have any E-keys, cd's, or dvd's for the service part.

WHere do we get dongles and such?  for our AVP  machines..
