Spectrum 5 Pinout v. 6 Pinout
« on: January 25, 2015, 09:05:33 PM »
Went to install a Spectrum into an S2000 machine and was duplicating harnesses from another.  Original spectrum has a 5 pinout molex and the one I'm installing has 6 pinouts.

I have spent an hour searching the old site and gleamed some information but not to the point where I feel comfortable I wont fry something out.

Does anyone have details on the 6 pin molex to netplex configuration?

Much appreciated,

Mike

Here's some pics of the two.

Never mind the wire colors of the 6 wire molex.  Stole from another part.

Hoping someone has a solution.

Thanks,

Mike

Anybody?

A clear pic of both the 6 pin plug and the Netplex plug will do.

Maybe I need to buy a 5 pin spectrum board instead?

Can you post a picture of the board that the display is plugged into?

My guess is that the 6 pin plug is for an S+ machine and the 5 pin is for the S2000. I have a spectrum unit for an S2000 available.
