It's hard to tell by those photos whether it's just dirty with surface rust, or if it's pitted where it would need re-plating.
Has the seller stated if it works or not? I'm assuming no but some S plus fixes are quite easy! And it's a "nudge" machine which are much more fun than the regular 'ol Double Diamond.
I'd pay $200 for it, provided the machine just needs minor repairs and a good cleaning. Some parts though, like the MPU are getting more expensive to replace. I'd seen them on eBay for $30 but now the prices have gone up. We still have members here though that would give sell one at a fair price.

IGT Stand-alone Progressive Systems / Building a progressive setup
« Last post by FloridaGaming on Today at 08:29:01 AM »
Hi Everyone!
I am hoping someone can help explain how the setup in the picture works.  Don't laugh :24:, but I thought it would be fun to build this for a few of my Game King machines.  I am familar with stand alone progressive, but is this more complex utilizing a IPC controller that talks with all the machines?  Application would be 044 game kings.  And what tells a big LED sign to display that amount?  Would be a cool project if it is not impossible to source the parts or build.  Please let me know!
thanks!

IGT S and S-plus Reel Games / Re: Ghost in the Machine or....?

Try that last reply first!

If the problem still exists, inspect the connection from the BV to the power supply. Power off, disconnect the plug to the BV's power supply which will be mounted against the cash can housing. Inspect that plug, Also check the two small plugs connected directly into the BV on the left. Sometimes those small wires break but still appear to be connected.

Bally Electromechanical / Re: Bally 742-A blowing fuse
« Last post by newkid3 on Today at 07:44:22 AM »
Jim, I think you might be correct on the switches on the door. I was just looking at some pics I took of the inside of the door and I see two suspect areas just from looking at the pics.
Both switches has the heat shrink pushed down the wire on at least one wire. If you look close on the second pic of the switch at the bottom left hand side of door it looks like it is pushed back and twisted some also.
I wont be able to look at the machine until a little later today but I hope I will find the issue there.
I am thinking the switch is shorted out to the cabinet ground and that is why the meter steps up one and then the fuse blows.
I will report back with my results.

     Thanks

So I, only know basic stuff, but have you tried just like opening the top of the bv/sliding it in and out (resetting it) ? Whenever they won’t take bills it always does the trick for me

Found on eBay, Craigslist, or other similar sites / AVP Addams Family???
« Last post by Tacman on Today at 05:30:59 AM »
So, perusing EBay today and noticed a listing for a flash drive that supposedly has an IGT AVP game of Addams Family. The listing gives a # GEII 000187 “Adams Family“. Has anyone seen this game? I did a Google search and all I get is the 3902 variations. The listing is below and the pic of the flash drive is shitty and is hand written.

Can you post a picture of the underside of the BV? Looking to see if you have flash memory type BV or EPROM. Try a new $10, $20, $50

IGT S2000 and Vision Games / S2000 R-W-B Multi-Denom issue
« Last post by stlscott on Today at 03:57:42 AM »
Hi everyone,
I'm struggling with this Multi-Denom issue.  I've cleared and keyed it 3 times with no success.  I've followed the steps I found on NLG.  Basically, it works but doesn't.  I setup all 4 player Denom, game denoms, all good there.  After the initial setup, it defaults to the 1-position for Denom, which is great.  After that, if I press any of the othe denom areas, it makes the loud "CLICK" sound and moves the denom to position 2.  Then it won't change to another denom position, even with the "click" sound being made, it's stuck on position two.  It never moves to any other position nor back to position one ever again, unless I clear/key it.   Even just a "KEY" does not put it back to position 1.  I've swapped out 3 different "known good" multi-denom touch panels (they work in my other machine) so I know it's not those.  It makes a sound every time you press one of the other areas but won't change.  This problem carries between MPU boards as I've swapped 3 thru the machine with different game base-chips and the problem stays. I've also swapped my i/o boards with known good ones, no change.  The only thing I have not swapped is the backplane/motherboard - could that be the issue?
