Curious what any of you WMS video slot owners prefer machine wise if you had to pick only one? For me I would have to say BB2. Currently seems to have the biggest selection of game titles at the best cost per game. I am new to this site, but have had WMS slots for the last 12 years. My old Jackpot Party 360 slant top started it all. I currently have a BB1 and a BB2e machine. I have all the stuff to play BB3 games in my BB2e machine. I don't use the BB3 set up much since most BB3 games are quite costly still. One game i would like to find that seems impossible to find on the second hand market is Elton John.
When I read the title i though oh wow, I love talking about this stuff to people who wont just tell me to shut up (this forum basically lol). Well then you said everything I would say haha. I will tell you that most bb3 games are still a little laughable in price because there pretty much all still used, however non-rare games can be had a little more affordably. But something like scrumditlyumptous wonka... FORGET about it. thanks Harts for that info.
So far most threads I have read have been pretty positive on NLG. You may have to show me the topic that brings out every ones true colors. One forum or group I am a member of that is almost all arguments and name calling is on Facebook. Toyotahaulics. If you want some entertaining time consuming reads with a bunch of immature guys that can't get along and find a way to say something negative about anything no mater how harmless or innocent the post is. Go there. lol

One of my machines is a BB2 cabinet with a TSE board and an Extra Spin Button Button deck added.  I use both NXT-1 and NXT-2 MPUs with this setup to run all SSOS games including dual screen games with the NXT-1 and the NXT-2 for SSSG games and the TSE board with games like Time Machine.  To me this is the most versatile set up with the capabilities to run both SSOS and SSSG games.
Sounds like you figured out the best combo for one machine. I ended up with a BB1 machine for all my old games from my NXT upgrade days I was using in the 360 Slant Top and the 550 machine i had. Went with the BB2e cabinet since most of my library is all BB1 BB2 games. I have a couple favorites on both platforms. The BB2e is a easy upgrade to the BB3 CPU 3.2 which I have, but collects dust at the moment since I have only one BB3 game.

i did make up games with strips as mentioned - 3 out of a 5 strip set.  do not have my notes here - back in florida - so i can't tell you what bin file i used. in any case you should be able to modify the one you have and adjust the cksum accordingly.

Other Reel Games / Re: Problems with Mills

1. Please post pictures of the inside lower part where the handle connects. It might be in the "piston" (or air pump) of the handle that's causing it to stick. Usually you can remove that part and clean it.
2. Your payout slides are probably gummed up, or you have a broken spring - so one is stuck open, resulting in a payout each time.  People sometimes oil them and they should NEVER have oil.

I'm a novice at mechanical slots but I can give it a try until someone else chimes in.
Post the handle lower part picture as well as the bottom of the payout tube, where the slides are.

there is also a circuit on the hopper - believe it is a green/white wire to a yellow that also controls the insert/accept/pay lights.

The wires opposite blue 20 are yellow/Brown 36 on coin accepted, red/black 18 on deposit coin & green/black 48 on winner paid. Jumping yellow to each of these lights the bulb. Jumping yellow to 18  lights both insert & accept. I have 6vac across the 1$ light but not the others. I have continuity from 36 & 18 to the coin relay switch. I can jump a yellow from anywhere in the machine to light the bulbs. Machine plays good & pays accurately. :thank_you:

IGT S and S-plus Reel Games / Barcrest Little Devils error 0018 locked up
« Last post by dposea on Today at 04:58:44 PM »
My Little Devils S+ sat plugged in for a long time, and now has 0018 in the LED display and the key does nothing. On startup the reels spin then the 0018 appears. I'm just starting to learn about the machine so I'm not sure how to check the MPU.  If that is the board in a plastic box next to the main board none of it's lights are coming on. I'm going to check the power supply output tonight according to the instrcutions in the sticky post. I'm trying to get the hopper out so I can get to the main board. If there are faqs or instructions I need to read please let me know. I'll take pics as soon as I figure out the hopper removal. I have removed the reels, top and bottom, for access. This is just a home use machine converted to token use, but it will still take a $20 bill for faster play. Are any of the diagnostic plugs useful with a PC? Thanks in advamce for any help.

This is the standard ram clear you want. It will clear all BB1 or BB2, newer or older BIOS. I won't call it a speed clear, there are faster/newer ram clears for BB2s, and older ram clears that don't work on newer equipment.
This one is genuine, note things like the tamper evident label.

Not-Fun facts lie behind genuine not-copied software with fake labels.

The Super Fast Clear Card he is referring to is the 1851 card, while it is a few seconds faster on clearing it will work with any CPU-NXT, CPU-NXT-1 CPU-NXT-2 and any Bios, The 1810 Card won't clear the CPU-NXT with old Bios, and there are 3 versions of the 1810 and some will not work on the old bios in the Green CPU-NXT-1. While I personally don't think needed for home use many like the 1851. The correct 1810 will do anything most people need
the only thing im worried about is buying a bb1 with old bios, but i guess your saying that wont happen if i buy one now-a-days or is there a way to update it if it has old bios?

Yes, very easy to replace/update the bios.  Usually $20 or less, not a big deal.
