Why does this machine start up in self test?

hi ,just bought one,game maker 7200 has same problem,screen lights up with test in middle of screen,checked battery was dead,im waiting for new battery and clear chips should be here in another 2 weeks,ill keep in touch,if you find out before me please let me know,and i will let you know when i get my parts,,thx

put my battery ,need to do a safe ram clear, i think your monitor might not be pushed all the way in ,mine i pulled out in put back changed battery, was no good,fired it up and all is good, need ram clear chips, still waiting for them to come ,will let you know if it is all good ,thx

clear chip come in, all good, fixed game maker 7217 , just need cable for coin optic board and coin comparator,to get coins and hopper working, bill validator is working takes bills to add credits, nice machines 10 games to play, so you dont get bored playing the same game,
