I am to understand that I need a particular chip to be able to make changes to the denominations screen.   I hear the word SET CHIP and I hear the word CLEAR chip.   I have a CLEAR CHIP, but in the menu's it states "Please clear safe RAM and insert SET CHIP to allow changes".

1.  how do you clear safe RAM.
2.  Is the set chip the clear chip or are they different.  - if different where can I find a set ship?
3.  do convert to quarters, MUST i buy the quarter hopper and quarter coin back and thats it.  I assume my micro ms-m40 comparitor will work fine with quarters?
4.     or can I use the nickel hopper for quarters as the diagrams seem to use the same parts for nickels and quarters.... for the most part.
5.  If I can't do any of this, can I at least change the cabinet denomination to match the game denomination.  currently its 1c for game and 5c cabinet.  very confusing.  I'd be fine with changing game to 5c to match.. i this is an option instead of conversion.
6.  there are other setting like sound and bell on jackpot that state "settings cannot be changed at this time".  Is this because I went into the menus wrong.  I've tried what I though every combination of opening door, turning reset on, closing door then reset on, opening belly door, turning reset on..... nothing will allow me to change sound level and other things the manual states I can change.

7.  I have the clear chip... if I boot with the clear chip, the manual states the the cabinet will reset to defaults... what are the defaults?  is it default to nickel game nickel cabinet, quarter game, quarter cabinet or is it default to things related to sound and other menu items.

I'd appreciate any info on the above.   struggling but interested in pursuing.   I found a place that has clear video chip and a I/O board clear chip for Sigma... rudydeals.com  not sure what those are?   HELP?
