Title: Anyone convert an AVP trimline 2.0 to AVP 3.0 ?

Is it as simple as swapping out the backplane and 3.0 brainbox from an SAVP into the Trimline ?


Or are there other considerations also, like incompatible power supply or harnesses to backplane etc... ?

I've been asking these same questions.  I have a 2.0 machine I'm trying to convert to 3.0.  I so far have a 3.0 brain box and 3.0 back board.  I think I need other parts as well but I'm not certain.

Hey guys, I just uploaded a Trimline 2.0 to 3.0 conversion document to IGT games_Game king Trimline in NLG File System.  Check it out

I've done a few of these and they aren't bad. The metal work is hard to come by sometimes but the rest is pretty easy. The Dynamic panel upgrade on Trimline is the one to pull your hair out on lol.
