Title: UV1700 issues, help please

I have a garfield here giving me a headache, I had other ones and with the same set/ clear procedure I was up and running this ones being a lil cranky


After a clear it asks for set chip, install set chip and boot then get "Invalid Rom Settings Settings Dont Exist"


I cant get past it I tried re clearing it a few times keeps giving same error

Majority of the 1700's only need a clear. I can only think of 4 that need a set chip also. Have you used the set chip in another game that needed it? If so, which version is the set ?


I know the topic is old, but figured I would chime in for people still looking for info.

So to convert a UV1700 is this the correct process?
1) put new EPROM chip in
2) Put new CD in
3) Run clear chip?

When you say convert, you mean setting up a different game ?  Depending on which game, you will only use the clear... as you said above.

Yea, my Double Double Jackpot Poker CD is corrupt so i need to move it to another game. Ordered Double Jokers wild, waiting for it to arrive.


Ordered clear chip also.  Hoping i dont run into problems on the other side of the CD and chip.
