Title: SIGMA HR-IM (Jokers Wild) | Recapped With an interesting issue
Post by: Green5 on March 10, 2022, 09:47:37 PM
I replaced every electrolytic capacitor in a SIGMA HR-IM Jokers Wild machine.
It was working fine before but in my experience, doing this prolongs life.

After I completed the job and booted it but, the cards do not deal out as fast as they used to.  Weird how it was super fast cards and now much slower.

Is there a setting?

I should mention that all book keeping data was erased after I replaced all the electrolytic capacitors.  So, I'm thinking there is a setting somewhere.  maybe a dip switch changed while I was flipping the board around and working on it?

Other issues incase you want to toss in a thought:
-Monitor has slight squiggly lines noticeable in light white colored areas mainly.
-When it dispenses coins, the monitor image waves around.

I suspect possibly the new power supplies I installed can't keep up with demand?  It was 12 volts DC when I installed and tuned the PS. maybe under full load it's having trouble keeping up?
