Hi all,
I just picked up a Monte Carlo s6000, it was not working when I got it so I cleared it and these are the numbers that came up. Can anyone tell me what they mean and maybe guide me in the right direction?

That's the date and day of week. You just need to finish the setup.

I can't get past that point, don't you just hit the max bet if you don't care about the date, shut the door and play?

okay i did that and it doesn't change, maybe the button doesn't work because I also picked up a dragon spin and it did the same thing but when I hit the service button it changed to 5.2 not sure where to go from there?

52 on the Dragon is the cashbox for the BV. it's not in properly or the cashbox door is not closed fully

yes I remembered that and checked those and found nothing but I also have these wires on the bv harness, my question now is are these loose wires supposed to be hooked up to a cherry switch that the cashbox pushes against?

No the loose wires are not used. Just the Molex connects to the harness and then to the backplane. The MEI cashboxes will cause the error. It has light pipes inside. If they are dusty and dirty with smoke they will not work. You can open the bottom of the box and put it in the dishwasher.
