Title: Installation Failed Error: Easier Way to Install Games?
Post by: sakwilla on April 08, 2023, 06:59:49 PM
Hi all, I have an IGT G23 machine with 10 games loaded. I went to install 5 more this morning and during Tokidoki the game installation failed. When I try to turn on the machine after it goes into a loop. This seems to happen randomly - it maybe Tokidoki and the next time it works fine and its another game.

I tried to remove the package which worked but when I turned the machine on again it comes up with a hard disk error

Is there an easier way to fix or remove the game if there is an error during the installation of a particular game. If i wiped the hard disks and install again it will work but just seems to be a long process. Have tried searching for this post but cant find a similar error so if anyone can help or link me to  a post it would be greatly appreciated :) Thanks all

intermitent issues like that can be several things, but a hard disk error is rare.  You should probably just switch to an SSD and go from there to see if it fixes the issues.  Also when you install games, only use the admin menu to add packages.  Don't add packages by booting with ekey and game installer, only do that when first installing OS.

Cashout machine, insert ekey7, go to setup/game/manage packages.  Insert a usb drive with some games on it. Follow install instructions.  Then enable them.
