Why does my bill acceptor only take bills upside down?

Depends on the BV make and model and flashed programmed options.

For example MEI Cashflows have the option to take Bills 1 way only, 2 ways, 4 ways etc.

Also they have upstacker and downstacker models that by design sit in cabinets "upside down"

Can you share a photo of your BV and what machine its in?

I yield to the WBA experts but most likely a flashing required or cleaning of optics required...

I only use MEI in my machines but if you want a replacement I have a few of these working... pm me your offer and ill consider shipping 1 or 2 your way.

Hi I would have taken both even if you bought a mei wba because the more spares you have the better in my humble opinion because if one goes down you got another to fall back on and use.
