Title: IGT S3000 set for Canadian

I have a S3000 that is setup in Canadian currency.  Is the currency set up in the bios or is it part of the OS.   I was going to install a new os, and game but was not sure if it would still be in Canadian currency.  Any insight would be helpful

Maybe try this, not sure if it will work:

Ekey
setup
cash handling
monetary type, Non native monetary
                       Unicode Font whole
                       Unicode Font base

Not sure if BV needs to be flashed. I haven't tried changing to any currency but it looks like it's in the menu.

Both might apply. First flash the bios with a US version, then change the monetary type to USD. Verify that the 8 pin boot chip is APR00003. Obviously the BV must have US firmware too.
