Title: 6 GB Transcend SSD in a BB2?
Post by: Stayouttadabunker on May 03, 2023, 11:47:36 AM
Yup...it's not a typo... :sherlock: A brand new six gigabyte solid state drive.
Will it work for a LOTR game in a BB2?  :scratch-head_2:

**Update***

It works fine!  :cool_thumb_up:

That seems a little small for that game. From what I remember I thought 40gb was optimal for that game as it unpacks a lot of data to the hard drive. I’m going off memory tho or thinking of another game.

The last run of BB2 CPU had 32gb SSD in them.

The Transcend is a 64gb SSD

I didnt read the label. 6GB/s means it transfers 6gb of data per second. Not the size of the drive. idesign is correct. Its a 64GB drive.
