Title: Cal Omega v17.2 game on 905 rev B gameboard
Post by: Melkor000 on May 20, 2023, 09:07:49 AM
I got an old poker machine I'm playing with for fun and it has all the stats on an audit screen. I wanted to clear it to 0 for a fresh start. I can clear the white numbers but red numbers wint clear. No good hands are hitting and I feel red numbers throwing it off. Its at the point where its taken in 12,000 points and hasnt even hit a 4 of a kind.

Is there a way I can clear the machine stats to be fresh?

If the board has a RAM chip in a socket and it is powered by a battery remove the chip and short it's legs on a piece of bare metal for a minute then plug it back in.

Thanks for the reply! Idk where Ram chip would be. I can take a pic inside. Whats bare metal for?

A picture would help.
The bare metal (any bare metal) is used to clear all memory cells inside the RAM chip. The RAM chip that stores all of the statistical data.
