Hi,
I'm from Germany, so please excuse my english writing.
I got a Bally 5000 Plus a few days ago. The most ist working well. Now I want to make it better ;)
The first things are the Buttons "Spin", "1 Credit", "Max Credit" on the right site. They are not lighting. The "Pay Out" on the left is okay. I have swapped the bulb from the one I know working to the "Spin" and it is not going. So I checked the wires, they seems to be okay. Than I checked the voltage coming to the Buttons. On the working one it's -0,2V if off and 0,5 V if on. On the not working it's 0,2V if off and 0,4V if should be on. 0,5V seems to low for the working one, but it will running...
So, any suggestions where I should look at next? My suggestion is the Transistor at the board. Did anybody already tried?
Next "Problem" is, I will get a Error46 sometimes. It seems the motor is not strong enough on stopping and the reel spins a few steps to far. It only is this one reel, so I thing there is not a power problem. Any suggestions?
