Backlit reels

Hi. Reels on my "Double Double Diamond" s2000 bounce when the reels stop spinning. Machine have backlit reels. Can it be a bad reel motor some cause this?

How bad to they bounce? s2000 reels are pretty old now. 20+ years most likely. They will wear out. Are they throwing a reel tilt error?

No reel tilt error. They bounce when it stop spinning from a regular game play. Don't know what the issue can be. Think maybe bad reel motor.

Probably the reel baskets.  They're really flimsy and break easy.  Check the horizontal bars inbetween the two sides of the basket for looseness or being broken.

If the spokes are broke, glue them back together with some Gorilla glue.

I had a couple that were like that. Someone had oiled the motor bearings and got a lot of oil inside. I took them apart and cleaned out all of the oil. It fixed one of them but the other one i had to replace.

No oil inside the reel motors. Clean and dry.
