Bally 5000 plus - How to replace coin acceptor?
« on: February 25, 2025, 04:32:06 AM »
Hi folks.

I purchased Bally 5000 plus and I'm having problems with it's coin acceptor. The model is 2CC-62. Sample coins are in please but it rejects almost every coin.
I have few CC-16 comparitors in stock. Has anyone tried to replace this 2CC-62 model with CC-16? if so how it's done?

In fluorescent green, I circled what looks like a single cut wire.
Circled in red are two Philips screws.
Remove those to take off the rake and its solenoid.
You don't need it for home use.
Coins dropped in will go into the coin optics now and get counted as credits to the machine.
