Hello,
You should just be able to turn the reset key twice with door closed to get past the miss match error...Also it look like you did not transfer the GALchip (the little one about the GAME erpoms...
Resetting and clearing ram on a Sigma
Hold in the test button next to the power switch, then turn and hold the reset key, then turn on the power switch at the same time. Continue holding the test button and the reset switch until the reels turn and the door says ram cleared (about 15 seconds). The door should read turn reset key twice. This will hard clear the machine
Must have GAL01 or GAL03 denomination chips (Not GAL02)
-
Ill look at it again when I get home...But i'm pretty sure I transferred all the chips over to the new board. Turning the reset key does nothing. as well as holding the test button and reset key when powering on the unit.
-
Okay.... Update.
Turns out I did forget to swap over one chip (Small Gal Chip)
Powered on the machine.
Rom Error
Cleared error.
Now Im back to game play. However, the new mother board did not fix previous issues.
I can play the machine using quarters. But it still won't pay out if I hit the payout button.
Also the bill validator still does not work.
Please advise what do do next
-
check all the wiring from the payout switch...Make sure all connectors are in there correct possition...Does the bill validator cycle at startup?...Maybe post a video of your machine powering up...

I did check all the connections at the payout switch. As well as bench tested the hopper. (works)
The bill Validator does not cycle on power up. Ill post a video tonight.
-
If the BV does not cycle on power up then you might have a bad power supply...check for voltage at the BV...
-
what is the voltage there? 12V or 24V
-
What BV do you have?
-
Im at my office so I will check when I get home

Here are a few more video clips of the machine

Looks like you have the BV cable plug into cn19...It is supposed to be in cn18...
Try that and see if BV cycles...
-
Also check and verify you have 5vdc 12vdc and 24vdc at the board test points...
-
Thank you! I will check those when I get home.

So i moved the Bill Val Cable...and still no go. I did a rom reset and still no change....Also wonder why I can't get into the menu.
