Title: Sigma SG32 Battery
Post by: tomterlec on March 21, 2022, 11:56:40 AM
I’m trying to revive a Sigma slot machine and resolve rams wrong error. Whoever had this slot previously wired in 2 AA batteries which are completely dead. Originally I believe this had some type of memory capacitor, I’m not sure where I could even find one.

Question to all, can a 3.6v lithium battery like used on IGT S+ boards work?

I am using standard 3.6v Lithium on my Treasure Wheel, and it works just fine.

Thank you, I think I’ll give it a try.

Hello, what was the resolution for the RAMS wrong error? Is it simply the battery?

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to solve the Rams wrong error. I believe there were more serious issues with the main processor board, it already had multiple jumper wires for broken traces, I suspect there were more.
