S2000 Reel Strips for Triple Diamond Haywire

The reel strips in the machine I just bought look like someone left them exposed while spray painting something else. There are small white paint droplet on the reel strips.

you might be able to help yourself, depends on the type strips you have!, if they are the washable type, you can clean them and probably remove the paint drops. if they are faded and colors faded then more then likely they are not washable, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CLEAN THOSE IN ANY MANNER, YOU WILL DESTROY THEM!
these strips are difficult to find.

Thanks Jim. Fortunately I read the warnings about washing them, because that's exactly what I would have tried! I'll test a little area with a Q-tip to see which kind of strips I have.

Non washable strips will usually feel a little sticky to the touch and have a satin like sheen. You can literally lick you finger and touch one in a non conspicuous area and tell. Washables will have a thin clear layer over the symbols.

Don't snooze if you still need these. They are not easy to come by.
