Title: Roaring 20's S6000 no credit after inserting coin?

drop in a coin and it goes straight to the hopper  NO CREDIT


has a green light on the coin mech that is on?


suggestions,  tried different coins in the comparator too?

I got one exactly like the one you have. . Move your quarter around in your comparator. It might not be comparing with the quarter that goes by very good . You say the light is on..check that connection that goes to that little board. I had to replace that little board on one of my machines cause that censor quit working . Bob on this site got me one .

on mine I had to decrease the 'sensitivity' a little bit before it started working accurately all the time.  i think it's because mine is an older comparitor and with the newer and variety of quarters these days, it wasn't likely the variance.

Make sure that your coin mech switch on the mpu is in the up position.

I said we replaced the battery on the 81 code and then did a reset on the 83f code by doing a jumper reset on the MPU.


Come to find out the jumper had a plastic cover. In doing the reset the tiny metal piece inside of the cover got left in place  lol


and wasn't noticed til we did another reset procedure.   lol  Once we did a proper reset actually moving the metal jumper it worked!
