Don't cash out is the only way I know.

In the casino, there was an option to save your progress by signing in or printing a ticket. Not sure if it needs to be connected to the server to even print out a ticket.

Ive been playing around with the options and I see  a setting about printing a ticket and it has options to ask or always.  Just didn't know if I was missing anything else in the setup.   When I try now it just says database not available.

This slot is part of WMS' Adaptive Gaming. The games were connected to a server to Log In. Clue, Lord of The Rings, Super Team were all part of this. They still have Star Trek at Sands Casino in PA. Last I played it, you were able to log in still. That was before SG took over WMS. I'll have to try next time I go.

You need to be connected to WMS's community gaming server.  Catch the big one Big Event was another community gaming title.  The machine by itself has no way of maintaining player info.

Has any reverse engineering been done on the database, community gaming server emulator, etc anything of the like?

Wish it was that easy.  It is a secured protocol, anything that is attached to a gaming machine must be to pass jurisdictional approval. The only way to "save" your progress is to put away the backplane and mpu along with it if you want to change games.
