Hi
I am setting up a bb1 1/5. , cleared it, set it up, game comes up, put money in, credits showed up, pressed bet buttons, nothing. It has a 13 button, usb panel. All the buttons lite up green but do not say anything, all blank inside. Set to old usb button panel. Tried to go to diagnostics and did not see anything listing button deck. Any suggestions?
Thanks Dirtguy

Not all games support OLED panel. What game did you load?
-
The one that came with the machine, Winning bid.

Check button panel make sure it is getting power. There should be two connections on the panel. A USB plug and a 24volt (2 wire molex) connection.

It's getting power cause the buttons lite green, if I pull the usb wire off the lites go out. The other wire is attached at the button deck, will check if it is connected at the other end.

I'm getting 23.1 volts on the 2 wire molex. There are 4 green led's lit under the panel . This is my first machine with this kind of button panel, is there something in the set up that configures the buttons that I may have missed or is setting the denoms with # of lines played the only settings?

The usb panel should be automatically recognized. The only other thing I can think of is that you have a firmware issue with your machine. What OS are you using with your game?

Operating System H13.21 SSSG-000-1673
The game comes up with no errors, accepts bills just nothing when I hit any button.

Try loading with a more current OS, SSSG-000-1696 H13.34 at a minimum for OLED panel support.

Would I be able to put a standard BB button panel in to replace the OLED panel ?

Yes however you may need the harness in addition to the button panel as most BB2's do not have the harness installed.

Hi
Solved the problem by using the standard type button deck. There must be something wrong with my OLED button deck. Thanks everyone for your help!
