Not exactly sure if I'm posting this topic in the right spot or not. I am wondering if anyone had a moth infestation in their slot machine? Should I be concerned when moth season rolls around because moths seem to like dark and quiet places... a slot machine seems like a prefect little spot. I'm thinking about putting a blanket over my slot machine during moth season

We have tons of them where I live. They have never gotten inside one of my machines, they seem to like the lights above and crash into them constantly, driving my cats crazy.
-
That's good that they have never infested your slot machines yet :) I also have cats and my cats love to go after them I've been seen masses of moths swarm around lights, which I find very cool to watch :)

keep it in the house, moths are not going to bother it,if your really worried, put a moth ball inside, it will stink the house up,moths eat clothes, have fun ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

You will have more chances of a mouse pissing a shitting in a machine before moths do anything to it.
-
mice like working out on those spinning wheels, thats why they have to reset every time you turn on machine, hahhahahahahaah,,,,,,,,,

Trained Moths are just the latest tool in slot hacking. :rotfl:
Its not inconceivable that moth larvi could fall into a coin entry / vent if a moth was to land, and birth but unlikely a live moth would find entry very easy.
-
I can now see mice getting a good work out I need the slot reels loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool, or I could see someone opening up their slot machin door and a amry of moths fly out into their face

Moths fly at night not just around lights, it's just when they travel. When the sun comes up they look for a place to sleep and if your slot is on and warm it is every bit a likely place to crawl in and hide as anything else. If they can get in and out easily enough you'll find no evidence of them being there

Thanks, mine is usually off and is a cold lump of metal. I may put some moth balls inside if I can find some that don't stink as bad :)
