Post by: bhinkley on April 13, 2020, 05:45:02 PM
TITO@Home version 4.0 is available. Each board comes with 3 free play options on it.   By default I set boards up with 1000, 5000, and 10,000 credit options as well as an off option.  They are based on a number of credits that is issued by the machine typically by the accounting denomination.

My boards will run on:

IGT S2000
IGT IGame
IGT AVP 3.0/2.0
S-AVP, SMLD
AVP video
G20
G23
Universal Slant
IGT S3000
WMS Bluebird 1, 2, and 3 (Blade)
Bally S6000
Alpha 1
Alpha 2
Konami K2V
Konami KP3
Ainsworth A560
Speilo Vue
Incredible Technologies
Aruze Innovator
Aruze Craps machines
Aristocrat MK6 with a working SPC board
Aristocrat Gen 7 and Gen 8 with software version 5.07 or lower and a working SPC board
Coming soon: Aristocrat Gen 7 and Gen 8 with software 5.08 or newer.  No SPC board needed for this setup.

Boards are $40 per board plus shipping.

There is a flash module also available for $10 more that allows you to flash the 3 free play values very easily just by editing a text file with the module and connecting it to the board before power up and then disconnecting it after flash.

Shipping will be by USPS first class mail or Priority Mail with tracking.  If the order gets large enough it will be shipped UPS.

PM me if you would like to order.

I do have a website online for info, specials, and ordering. That website is www.titoathome.com (http://www.titoathome.com)

I am still working through some version 2 boards, so I am doing an even better close out on those. From now until I run out of the version 2 boards they will be on sale for $30 each plus shipping. The version 3 boards are available for $40 each plus shipping (free shipping on either type with a minimum of 5 boards ordered at once).

Has anyone gotten these to work on the Aristocrat MK6 machines?

NONE of these boards will ever work for Konami or Aristocrat.  They require enhanced SAS protocol.  All these boards only support System SAS protocol.  So unless the slot supports System SAS, then it will not work.

Until a time when enhanced SAS is developed for these boards, the only solution so far the home has been windows software that some users have created here.  To my knowledge on SAS@Home is known to work for Konami and Aristocrat.  The Aristocrats require the SPC board to translate Aristocrats native protocol to SAS.  From what I understand Konami's just require a harness for it (I don't have konami so I am not 100% sure).  You can do a search for konami TITO, as I know someone verified it working for Konami.

. Yes they will. The coding I use is the same for all machines. It is only the cable that changes, and s2000, I game, and GK are all the same cable as well so they would be interchangeable.

I beg to differ.
I am able to get Konami K2V working with standard sas and BettorTITO.
The catch is that by default Konami defaults to SAS ID 0,  which according to the protocol spec disables SAS.  Setting the SAS ID to 1  made the BettorTITO come online and work.   Been asking for someone to confirm this.   I got pictures..

Happy to, sorry to hijack the thread.

I had to sniff the serial line to figure it out, but it took 2 minutes because it was not responding or annoucing its SAS address like other machines.   So I gave it a SAS address and BOOM it worked.

Well, I stand corrected.  Through all the previous konami discussions, it appeared that konami only supported enhaced validation. Good to know!

No worries.  I am always looking for info to support more machines so more people can enjoy the TITO @ Home system.  With limited access to any machines it is hard to add support so I appreciate any info that I get..

Hello again everyone. I wanted to give an update on the version 2 close out boards. I am getting quite low on inventory of them, but I do still have some available. If you are looking to get a great deal to have your supported machine run with TITO now is the time to take advantage of the close out. Based on current sales I have made I am estimating that version 2 will be completely gone this month unless things change. Version 3 will still be available though.

Pm me if you would like either board to get yours now. Shipping is done within 24 hours of payment on all orders.

This is the absolute last chance to get any version 2 boards.  Since my last post I have flown through the stock I had of the old version.  I am expecting to sell out of the version 2 boards in a week or two at most at this rate, and then all that will be left are the version 3 boards.  This isn't a bad thing if you are waiting though as the version 3 has the selectable credit amount setup built in.  The Version 2 boards are all preprogrammed to a 1000 credit free play option and are not being offered in different values as the chips are already soldered to the board.  The version 3 can be reprogrammed easily in circuit so those can be changed at any time.

Contact me by PM if you are looking to get a version 2 board asap as they are going very fast.  Contact me as well if you would like a version 3 board.  The list of credit options is in the top post of this conversation and all you need to do is let me know the 3 values you would like programmed into the board.  I have version 3 boards built and ready to ship at any time.  Not to say too much though, I would suggest contacting me and getting your name on the list for version 3 boards now if you want one, but just not officially ordering one yet.  Getting your name on the list might be able to save some money on the future shipments.

Version 2 on final final closeout is selling for $30 each.  Shipping is $8 for us to 4 boards.  Any order over 4 boards will get free shipping.
Version 3 is priced at $40 each.  same shipping deals for the boards as version 2.

Version 2 boards are officially sold out now. Version 3 will continue to be available. Beginning June 1st 2020 version 3 has a new lower price. The regular price will now be set at $35 per board. PM me for orders or questions and I will get back to you ASAP.

I have recently been able to obtain some info on connecting my TITO boards to Konami K2V machines. If there is anyone willing to either confirm if the information is correct or try a TITO @ Home board in a Konami, please let me know via PM. I would love to get this going as a supported manufacturer of machines as well, but don’t have any access directly to a Konami machine.

I still have a good supply of boards for all other supported machines as well, so let me know if you are interested in getting any boards for those as well.

I have a Konami K2V that I would love to have TiTO for.  I already have your version 2 boards in my gameking & BB2.  It would be amazing to have this on the K2V.  I would probably need some help on how to set it up but I am willing to help in any way possible to make it work!

I wanted to give everyone an update on the TITO @ Home system.  Version 3 is going very well.  As I work through the stock I have of those boards I am preparing to make some minor changes for the next order I have to place.  More components are going to change to surface mount instead of through hole, and the boards are going to get ordered in a really good looking white board instead of the old green board.  I have attached a photo of my prototyping board to test the new design updates.  Please share your feedback with me on what you think of the look of the board.  There is some brown on the image, but that is just the solder flux from soldering the chips.  When I have a run made the boards will be completely white with the black text.

I also wanted to let people know that I am currently working with a few different people to try to add support for new machines.  I have sent off a test setup on a Konami K2V machine right now to do some testing, so hopefully we will have that type of machine available relatively soon in the support list.  I also have someone that is really wanting to try to get things running on a Aristocrat MK7 machine. I am working on getting some cabling and test setups for these machines to see if we can get any support set up for those.  I know people have said it is not possible, but if I have people willing to try what they can to get them going I am not going to give up on those yet either.  This would open up both MK6 and MK7 if we can get them to work.

As always, let me know if you are looking for boards on any of my supported machines PM me and we will get you the boards you need.  They are $35 each board and $8 shipping via priority mail.  If 4 or more boards are ordered I will ship at no cost to you.

The Aristocrat machines only support enhanced validation.  Your TITO @ Home uses system validation.  You would have to re-write your code to support enhanced validation.  It is not a cable issue as it is in Konamis.

I figured as much, but this person is determined so we will let them test and see if they can find settings that work. There is not enough room in the chip to try to write it as enhanced validation.  I have seen at least one MK6 machine that showed system validation as an option but I never could get it to work when I was trying.

On my MKVII, system validation is not an option, only enhanced validation.

Just an update for the order process to make things go smoother. If ordering, please make sure you let me know which model machine they are for so that I can include the correct cable for that model. My cables are made specifically for the type of machine so you don’t have to connect to jumpers or anything to get it to work. Because of this design they will only connect to the machine specified. For example...  the IGT s2000 and I game machines use the same connectors, but an AVP doesn’t have the same connectors, and a WMS bluebird have yet another and so on. This will make the connection much easier for you when receiving the boards.

Someone asked about the spc board connections to backplane.  Here are the photos. Again, unless a TITO solution with enhanced validation is released, Aristocrat MKVII and higher are not supported.

H2SPC2 goes to backplane (you can clearly see the cable colors match).
HSSPC4 goes to SAS Host.

Thank you Rick. I have explained that but he still wants to try so I agreed to make him a cable but he didn’t have the info for the backplane connection.  I appreciate your knowledge. Do you know if the mk6 machines support system validation?  I swear I have seen it on those snooping around in a friend’s machine at one point.

I have some exciting news for people on the TITO@Home front.  I have received some feedback on the boards that some people would like the option of having some sort of enclosure for the board instead of the standoff.

Well...  Your wish will soon be granted!

Introducing the TITO@Home version 3 compatible enclosure.  The enclosures are 3D printed at my home so large orders would definitely take time to do.  If there is enough interest in enclosures I may have a run made somewhere like once a year for people that are on the list to get one.  The enclosure runs about 3 hours to produce each one on the initial run, but they can be made soon enough.  Right now the enclosures will be available for $15 each if you are interested.  I am just starting a list at this point, but I am hoping to find a light grey color material to make them out of.  When I roll over to version 3.1 after I get the bugs in the hardware worked out there will be a version for that board too.

Let me know if you want any boards or to get on the list for the enclosures for version 3 at all and I will keep you up to date.  I may also be creating an order form to post to make ordering the boards and enclosures easier and more streamlined so I don't have as many questions to get to the proper setup for people in the future.

Hello everyone.  It has been a short while since I have provided an update on the progress of the TITO @ Home boards.  Things have been exciting but very busy around here.  I appreciate everyone that has helped to spread the word about this product so I can continue to improve and expand my support.

I have some great news for anyone that is looking for a TITO board for an Ainsworth A560 machine.  I have just been given some information on how to set up the TITO systems on these machines.  I am currently working on gathering and typing up some setup instructions so that I can officially get these on the supported list as well.  I am able to make the cables at this point already and there is a post out here that shows how to set up the machines so I am just compiling it into a setup sheet.  If you are interested in getting a board for these machines, please let me know.

I am still working on the Konami K2V machine setup information.  I have been able to get confirmation that I have a cable that supplies correct power to the board.  I am still waiting to hear back on settings working or not on the machine from Tanner.  If anyone else has a K2V machine and would like to try to help get the boards supported on those machines, please contact me directly and I can work with you to see what we can get figured out.

The list of current values to choose from are (please choose 3 values to put on the board when ordering):
1 credit
2 credits
5 credits
10 credits
20 credits
50 credits
100 credits
200 credits
500 credits
1000 credits
2000 credits
3000 credits
4000 credits
5000 credits
7500 credits
10000 credits
20000 credits
50000 credits
75000 credits
100000 credits
110000 credits
180000 credits (Only if machine supports at least a $2000 jackpot limit as this is $1800 with a penny accounting denom)

My boards will run on:

IGT S2000
IGT IGame
IGT AVP 3.0/2.0
S-AVP, SMLD
AVP video
G20
G23
Universal Slant
WMS Bluebird 1, 2, and 3
Bally S6000
Alpha 1
Alpha 2
Ainsworth A560
Konami K2V

I also have news about install instructions…
I found out today the links to the files I had posted online have started to fail to open properly.  Due to this I have created a dropbox link directly to the files.  These files are all for the version 3 boards to set them up on supported machines.  The link below is to that dropbox location.
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/l03c46hqe2jfeek/AAAdO_G7bFkX7UGaaCX0uwyha?dl=0 (https://www.dropbox.com/sh/l03c46hqe2jfeek/AAAdO_G7bFkX7UGaaCX0uwyha?dl=0)

I have finished the design of a 3D printed enclosure for the version 3 boards, and will now be releasing that as well.  It will be available for purchase separately for $10 each plus shipping.  I will also be offering the option of bundling it with a board.  Version 3 boards are available for $35 each plus shipping.  If you would like a board and enclosure as a set I will do the set for $40 plus shipping (A savings of $5 per enclosure/board set).  I have just ordered the enclosures, so there will be a short delay to get boards with enclosures or the enclosures themselves as I need to wait for those to arrive in order to ship them out.  For bulk orders, please contact me for pricing.

I want to thank every single person that has tried and supported the TITO@Home system and I hope to continue offering the boards long into the future.

One last piece of information for everyone…  I am slowly working on getting a basic website and order form set up so you will have easy access to being able to order and see what the board is about.  I am in the very beginning stages of trying to layout a page for the boards, but I will update with a new post as soon as I get it up and running.

There is some exciting news about the TITO@Home boards.  A special thank you goes out to Tanner for helping me get this tested and figured out.  I have now officially added Konami K2V machines to my supported machines.  They will work with all existing versions of my boards with a different cable.  A new board and cable will be the same price as all other machine types.  I also will be offering the option now of ordering just the cables for a machine if you want to have a spare cable or if you want to be able to change the machine that it plugs into.  Cables will be $7 each to cover the cost of the parts and labor to make them.  One cable is with each board at no charge (just like it has been the whole time).

I am working on the instructions right now for the Konami K2V, and thanks to Tanner again, I also have a video walking through the setup screens he has configured so you can see what the settings are as well as photos showing where the cables get plugged in.  If anyone can do videos of the setup screens or photos of where cables get connected in each machine so I can update install info I am willing to negotiate a one time discount on an order for boards or cables.  I am especially interested in gathering more info on the Ainsworth A560 machines to be able to confirm where I can pull power from so my boards can have a custom power connector as well.

I also have the new enclosures available for version 3 boards.  They are $10 each of $5 if ordered with a board.  They are a darker grey color and have snap fit covers.  Because they are 3D printed they take a long time to get an order (this last batch took a month to receive once I ordered them), so please be patient if you are wanting some and I am waiting to get more.

The last thing for today is something everyone likes to hear.  Talk about sales.  I am waiting on a new batch of boards to arrive next week, but I will be doing a Black Friday sale on my boards annually again.  This years will be announced once I get my new batch of boards and confirm the company assembled them to specs as it is a new thing to have them completely assembled before coming to me.  The sale this month will be going until the end of November once it starts.  Keep an eye out for that sale.  Boards are moving fast this year, so please plan ahead if you are thinking of getting one for someone as a gift (even if it is a gift for yourself).
I have attached my new order form to use currently.  Once I get a website up and running the orders will be able to be placed directly on there as well, but for now please use the order form if possible.  All I need is the info filled out and a photo of the form emailed to me or a copy of the filled out form emailed to me.  You can email them to my user name on here at gmail.com and I will get them.

That wonderful time of year has come. Sale time!  From today until the end of November I am offering a sale. There are two options for this sale. The first choice is 10% off the board or enclosure prices for all orders. The other choice is to get a free enclosure with a board order.   You get to pick which one you want for the sale. Right now I have almost 100 enclosures available so if we exceed that number of them I will get more ordered but there may be a delay on those. I will do an update on here if I start running out. Please contact me directly to place orders.

Only 3 weeks left of this years November sale. Now is a great time to place orders. I have a good stock of boards and most orders ship the day following payment. I typically only do one sale a year, so now is the time to save if you are thinking about getting a board(or maybe more than one board)

The sale is getting better for everyone. For now until the end of the month you can purchase Tito @home systems for $30 each. $8 shipping up to 4 boards and free shipping over 4 boards. With this sale that allows you to try an enclosure without added cost if you want to go that route because boards and enclosures are only $35 each set. Let me know ASAP if you are interested in the boards. They make great presents for anyone that has a supported machine and doesn’t want cash laying around in it.

Please contact me directly to purchase. Sale ends 11/30/2020. Help keep the project going and to help make improvements so the costs can stay the same. My board vendor raised prices so I am diligently working to update the design to allow for lower cost surface mount components and labor costs to ensure that board prices will not go up, but your board purchases help me to finance those design and testing changes.
I am also still looking for other machine info to add to my supported list. If you have a machine that can do system validation and know the pinouts I will work with you to get a discounted product in exchange for your help to test and determine how to set it up for my boards. I will also look at giving a discount if you can be the first one to send me a video of the setup process for the machine you have it in to add to my install files.

Only 10 days left to get in on this year’s sale. If you are wanting boards let me know. I have plenty of stock on hand right now so boards typically ship the next business day after payment.

Happy Holidays everyone.  I am going to do a little different sale right now.  Boards will still be the $35 each price, but while supplies last I will include a 3D printed enclosure for only $1 for each board.  The boards themself will continue to be available in the future, but the enclosures are not doing as well as I thought they would so I am closing them out.  I currently have about 90 of the enclosures, and will not be having any more printed, so if you  want to get an enclosure contact me.  I will also sell the enclosures separately.  Contact me for details on the pricing without a board at the same time.  These enclosures will only work with version 3 boards.  Once I sell through the boards I currently have on hand there will be a new version 3.1 coming out.  Functionally the board will run the same.  The only differences are the size is getting smaller ad there will now be a power LED on the board.  It will be a while before I get that version as I just got an order of the version 3 boards recently so I have a decent amount of those on hand still.

Bummer! I love those enclosures! They make for a great looking install versus an exposed board tossed in the cabinet in my opinion.

The games shouldn’t make any difference on the board running. It is the operating systems of the cabinets that determine the settings. From what people that have had the alpha machines have said they all allow the validation needed. The only difference is some of the backplanes don’t have the same power connector so it is then a matter of finding the voltage needed, but I have only had one person tell me about that and have sold many alpha boards so it must be a rare backplane that does that. As far as where it would print that I can’t help much. I have never personally seen the inside of an alpha machine, but it would have to have a printer in the machine to get it to work.

On my M9000 (Alpha) the power is found at a 20 pin molex in the middle of the backplane...
On my Alpha (1) there are 2 10 pin molex for aux power near the bottom of the backplane...

My first Alpha II confused me, the MPU/CPU box is in the middle of the backplane.
I found power above the box @ J17 and COM is under the box.
Setup is pretty much the same on both Alpha and Alpha II. Pretty much the same as my BB1 and BB2 as well.
Some Jurisdiction chips/eeproms don't like to cooperate. I use the no limit Jurisdiction.

I don't understand your question Ayub???
The TITO board only allows you to print a ticket from your printer that can be redeemed in your bill validator.
The game shouldn't matter. The TITO only impacts your COMM settings.

There currently isn’t a website for the product. As far as being better than the Bettor slots TITO that depends on what you are looking for. His product has some nice features if you are looking for things like control of some settings remotely. I have nothing bad to say about his product. My boards are a custom designed circuit with cables made specifically for the machine they are going in to make connecting the boards very easy. They also have 3 free play options on the board all at once so you can turn the feature off or select one of the free play settings with the flip of a switch or two where I believe his has only on or off and it has to be reflashed to change between on and off. If my understanding is correct the Bettor slots one doesn’t support Konami at all and mine recently have added that support.

From personal opinion only I find mine to be a cleaner design because it is completely made for this purpose solely. We both use the same settings and validation method so tickets are compatible between board types. Any other info, please reach out to me by pm and we can discuss specific questions.

Just a shot in the dark here to see about an idea I have for the future of the TITO@Home system to add more support.  Does anyone here know of anybody that has a computer version of the TITO setup written in either C or Basic languages that runs enhanced validation?  I am wanting to get ahold of the coding if possible for study to see if I can get a board that would be user selectable for what type of validation it uses so I could support enhanced validation, but I would need source code to compare and see if I can port the process to a microcontroller.  If you know of anyone that has gotten this working on a computer or standalone using the newer validation method, please refer them to me so I can try to get that working in a future version of my boards.

For all you TITO@Home fans....

I am searching for a few people to help with some testing for future support of my boards on new machines.

The first person I am looking for would be to help with trying some experimentation to see if I can get support for aristocrat Mk6 machines working. I have recently come into some info that shows a glimmer of hope that we may be able to get these going. You will need to have a SPC2.5 board for testing as that is the info I have to work with. You will also need to know how to reset the spc board if need be. The harness from the SPC to slot machine needs to still be in the machine as well.

Second will be someone with a aristocrat Viridian (mk7) machine. Same requirements as the MK6.

Finally I am looking for someone with a KP3 machine that can help with some photos to determine if the wiring is the same as the K2V machines. If it is or we can get the info needed this would also include testing the board in the machine.

Any one in those groups please contact me directly with an email or number I can text so we can discuss the project and hopefully get a few more machines on the supported list.

When contacting me about questions or orders, please try to include an alternate contact method in your message. I am getting quite a few messages that I try to reply to on here and receive a message that the receiver’s inbox is full. On here if you are not a contributing member it only allows you to have 10 messages in your inbox before it blocks incoming messages. I currently have one I can’t get ahold of for a response on an order so if you are waiting for a response from me please message me with alternate info or please open some space in your inbox to be able to reach you.

Great news TITO@Home fans!

I have just added support for Konami KP3 machines as well as WMS Blade machines to my supported machines for the boards.  I also have someone that is working on testing with me to see if I can get Aristocrat MK6 machines supported.

I am still looking for someone that would be willing to help me test the board in a Aristocrat MK7 (Viridian) machine once I get the MK6 figured out so I know how to interface everything correctly.  Please let me know if you have a Viridian machine and would be interested in helping get those supported with the TITO@Home.

I just got a new TITO version 3 today for my Alpha M9000. I've done the set up via the YouTube video for TITO setup and my question is how do I set the 2 dip switches on the TITO board & is this one of the places on the backplane to plug it into? I've got the other cable plugged into the comm 1 spot on the backplane.
Title: Re: TITO @ Home 3.0
Post by: bhinkley on February 02, 2021, 05:15:15 AM
Yes those two connectors about the middle of the backplane there is where you connect the power end of the cable.

For the dip switch settings leave both off for no free play. #1 on and #2 off for the lowest value chosen, #2 on and #1 off for the middle value chosen, and both on for the highest value chosen.

Tanks, I have the dip switches set now and its plugged into one of those 2 spots on the bottom of the backplane & I'm still not able to add credits. I'm trying to use this device because I do not have a working bill acceptor so in the settings after the clear I chose "no bill acceptor" could that be why I can't add credits with the cash out button perhaps? I was able to use an old style TITO without a bill acceptor on a M9000 recently without any issues so maybe I missed a step from the YouTube video on setting up my TITO.

It sounds like you are missing a setting. Nothing has changed in how the boards work to allow the free play. Make sure system or legacy bonusing is set up on the machine.

The drop box has different instructions for each type of machine. I was told the screens are basically identical to wms screens. The YouTube video simply was put out there to show someone I had gotten the machine working with the board so it doesn’t go over any specific settings as all machines are different. If you need additional help on setting up please email me at bhinkley@gmail.com and I can help determine specific screen settings by getting screen shots from you and what options it gives.

Great news for you TITO@Home fans and friends.  I am ready to update the first feature update that I am going to work on doing.  This feature update is able to be done by anyone that has a version 3 or newer board (right now version 3 is the latest version, but version 3.1 is being assembled right now.  Due to the Chinese new year and the component shortages happening right now they are taking longer to arrive for testing than I was hoping).  I have made an update to my coding procedure for the free play options.  What this means to you is now we are able to specialize the free play options down to the credit.  No list to choose from anymore.  You can simply tell me what free play options you want in the number of credits.  If you currently have a board that is version 3 and would like different options on it, I will do the reflash for free.  You would just have to ship it back to me to flash and then cover shipping back to you.

Here is a special sale for all you TITO@Home fans. Starting today and going until supplies run out I will be including a free 3D printed enclosure with every board that is sold. These enclosures have been discontinued due to the board size and layout changing and lack of demand so they are being closed out. Let me know by PM if you are looking to get a board with the enclosure. I will be away from the boards until March 7th after today so orders will be delayed getting shipped during the time away, but I will ship all orders as soon as I am back.

Hello TITO@Home fans. Great news for everyone. I have determined the cause for failure on the 3.1 boards during testing. I had some really dumb luck or good luck depending on how you look at it. Failures were caused by a bad transistor on the board which appears to be very isolated in occurrence but somehow the first 2 boards I tried both had them on it. Upon further testing the boards function as intended and I have just completed 60 full tests on 60 different boards and got the failed boards to test correctly with the replaced transistor as well. That being said TITO boards are officially back in stock and ready to go. If you had your name on the wait list you will be contacted directly to get the boards sent out. I look forward to supplying your needs again for TITO systems

I just wanted to do a quick update here...  most of my updates are now on my Facebook page for the TITO@Home system, but I wanted to let everyone know. Version 3.1 boards have a release date. They will be available starting 5/17. Cost is $36 per board. Shipping is a flat rate of $8 per order. There will be 3.0 boards available until I run out of those supplies. They are available for $35 each. There is a close out special on version 3.0 boards while supplies last. Only on that version buy 5 or more and get them for $32 each. Please join the Facebook group for further updates though as I see those much quicker and get updates out there more frequently.

Great news for anyone who is looking to get a version 3 board while they are still available. Starting 7/1/21 Tito 3.0 boards will be at close out pricing of $32 per board until they are gone. Right now I think I have about 150 of those left but have not gotten an exact count. Now is the time to order to get in on the special price. Don’t forget that all specials are posted on my website now.

Just a little sneak peak of what is in the works in design phases. When version 4 is figured out users will be able to buy a special module to update the boards on their end very easily to change free play option. On top of that you would only need to buy one module and it will work to flash all boards starting with version 4. This looks to be probably a year off still based on current stock and the development of the new features is just starting to happen. More details will come out as I confirm the features are designed and working properly. This version of board will also have extensive testing before release as there are a lot of hardware changes coming with it.

This week only I will be doing a special sale on version 3.0 boards. Starting 7/20 until the end of the week you can get 3.0 version boards for $28 each if you don’t mind the standard settings. Custom settings will be additional cost but will still be at a discount. Contact me for ordering. I am working on selling what I have left of the version 3.0 boards to help fund the research on the next major update.  Check out the website www.titoathome.com (http://www.titoathome.com) for ordering or reach out to me on Facebook directly.

I don’t remember if I posted out here but we do officially have support for S3000 machines now as well.

Ok,

I've got TITO working on IGT G23, WMS BB2E, Konami K2V, Konami KP3 and can help anyone that has questions on it.

I'm currently working on Aristocrat which may require an SPC2 (Serial Protocol Converter 2 SAS/MIKOHN) looking into it and have only spent 4 hours on the subject and am gathering what I can to deliver a solution that delivers at the very least ticket in and ticket out with legacy bonusing feature. Once that is accomplished and it will be the other things can be pursued thereafter like the Bally Mastercom and Aristocrat Sentinel systems that allow bonusing via the player tracking systems. The card readers are more for cosmetics since there is not many solutions yet aside from open source (beta) that can speak to making that milestone.

Let me know if anyone has info to share regarding TITO with legacy bonusing as of late with or without SPC.

Enhanced System validation is not the only option for Aristocrat as many have presumed since there are other jurisdictions that if setup with regions that allow the following, NONE, GAME, SYSTEM, SECURED ENHANCED, SECURED ENHANCED D/A, ENHANCED TITO can be accomplished using the same means as others. If for example an MK6/MK7/MK7i/WS/MK8 is setup with a certain set ship on (ram clear) that does not support other jurisdictions the previous presumption stands as fact that TITO can't be done without the SPC2 or older/newer device in the middle to deliver any TITO unit/software the needed support required to make it work on the most basic level.

Anyone can chime in now and share what they know for Aristocrat and after that, I doubt there is any other manufacture it can't be made to work with.

Thanks,

J

So far what I know is people have gotten it to work using a computer hooked to the machine and using enhanced validation. From my trying to gather information to see if I can get these supported with my product I have been unable to find anyone that even has system as a validation option during setup of the machine. People I have worked with to try have had to get a spc board to get any communication with the machine at all but without system validation that is where we have gotten stuck. I have tried with actual wire harnesses for the spc interface as well as trying to custom make a harness for someone that didn’t have one. So far no luck on either. All Tito systems using system validation (all standalone systems I am aware of) use a combination of hardware and software for the solution as do any that people have mentioned working with enhanced (in this instance a separate computer connected to the slot machine). My efforts have been focused on MK6 as that is what most people have. I have info I have gotten with some screen shots from a mk7 that shows system validation as an option, but have not found anyone with a machine that has contacted me with my requests for someone willing to test and document setup for me to add support for them. If someone has those machines I am willing to try testing with them. I supply the test Tito system at my cost for doing so and in return ask for screen shots or videos of where the cables get plugged in and the setup process so I can then write the instructions for people to repeat the process and document how my cables need to be made to work. Let me know if you are interested in working with me to try to get support for aristocrat.

Yes it does. The bb3 is normally considered a blade cabinet which is supported.

The definitive answer on MKVII is that system validation is only available for games that are in legacy mode (it will say so on the CF card).  Native MKVII games (not legacy) do not support system validation, so any of these stand-alone TITO boards will not work.  You have to use a PC solution with enhanced validation support.

Thank you Rick for the definitive answer. With that now being known I will not be supporting aristocrat machines at all on my boards. I only have the knowledge of how to use system validation so I won’t be able to incorporate enhanced on a stand alone product, not to mention the amount of space it would take to store all those ticket numbers.

Hey Rick...
Interesting info on 'Legacy' games.
What Jurisdiction have you used? I have not had time to test it but I was told different Jurisdictions allow different settings?

I have had multiple people try on mk6 machines with no success finding system validation in there either.

Great news for the TITO@Home fans.  I have just added install info and support for Speilo Vue machines on the website.  I have also added an order form on the website for you to be able to submit order requests to me out there.  This will help me to expedite gathering the needed info for the order so I can get boards shipped ASAP.  Let me know if you need any TITO boards and I will help you get any boards needed that I can support.

I am still looking to add support for more types of machines if anyone can confirm my boards work on them as well as provide wiring pinouts and settings so I can make cables and instructions.

The details have been finalized for this year’s Black Friday sale. The sale will begin 10/18/2021 at midnight and will go until the end of the year. The sale will be for $3 off a board with custom credit amounts or $4 off a board with standard credit amounts (1k, 5k, and 10k). This is off of the regular prices of a board ($36 for the version that is available). For anyone that is buying enough boards to get a quantity discount I will still be offering a discount on those orders as well based on the quantity of boards because parts discounts come at various levels. Please place orders via the website or contact me directly by text or messenger. The website will only show the discount under the specials info as ordering via the website literally emails me to send the info for what you are wanting and I process the order on my end.

Less than a week left on the Black Friday sale.  get your orders in now to ensure I can get them processed before the end of the year.

A little disappointing news for all you TITO@Home fans...  Due to rising costs the price of each board will no longer include the sales tax that I have to collect for all sales of my boards. I was trying to keep things simple, but as taxes are a large chunk of my cost and costs go up on parts I will have to separate that aspect out of the price.  Sales tax I have to charge is 7.525% as I am in Eden Prairie, so I have county/special taxes they require to be collected as well.  That will make the boards $36 + tax each starting on 1/1/2022.  This makes boards $38.71 including the taxes starting on that date.  If you are tax exempt and send me a form to have on file for being exempt, or are purchasing and living out of the state of minnesota, taxes will not be charged.

I do still have the Tito boards available for supported machines. At this point there are not any plans to stop making the project. The only current plan is the 3.1 version will be stopped and replaced with a newer version but the board setup will still be for sale.

Tito@Home fans…. Version 4.0 boards have gone into beta testing now. What that means for you is version 3.1 boards are getting better priced. My version 3.0 boards are on close out pricing now at $33 per board (a $3 discount per board). I have plenty of stock to supply any needs with those boards. Currently I am expecting the version 4 board release date to be some time in early 2023 if all testing goes well. Due to cost increases for everything the version 4 boards will be slightly higher in price, but some of the features are going to be well worth it. Let me know on my website www.titoathome.com (http://www.titoathome.com) for questions and ordering as I can get those responses quicker than on here.

There will be a light to indicate when the board is receiving data or not receiving data, and there will also be a new module available as an add on to allow the end user to change the free play settings to different values on their own instead of them being permanently set.

The TITO@Home scratch and win contest is officially starting.  I had some extra time to get the cards made today so the next 100 orders that I have come in will get a scratch and win card with the order.  The cards appear to be very hard to scratch off the silver, but the code that I will need to redeem the prize is clearly visible.  To redeem your prize you must either send me a photo of the card or provide the code on the card.  Codes are only valid on a future order from me, and will be valid for 6 months from the date of the original purchase.  Have fun, and I look forward to hopefully being able to offer more contests like this in the future.

Prizes available are:
Free board
Free upgrade from a 3.1 on the order to a 4.0 board
Free flash module for when the version 4 boards are available (I have enough boards from testing to be able to use them for the free module prizes)
10% off an order discounts
5% off an order discounts

You are still responsible for shipping charges on your prize.  Contact me on messenger, or go to my website www.titoathome.com (http://www.titoathome.com) to put in the order requests.

Just an update for all you tito@home fans. There is new support for other types of machines since I have last posted as well as good news about the Tito system. Please check out www.titoathome.com (http://www.titoathome.com) to see all supported machine types currently.

I am winding down on my 3.1 version inventory, but I am doing an early Black Friday sale. The sale is 10% off all boards now through Black Friday. That brings the price down to $27 each board plus shipping for the 3.1. I have just under 300 of that model board left. When those are gone they are gone. I already have a batch of the 4.0 boards on order being assembled right now. Once I receive those and get them programmed and tested I will make an announcement of the official release date for those. With the added components and functionality on those the price per board of those will be $40 each. There will be flash modules available that you can personally change which free play values you have on the 4.0 board for $10, and those modules can be used for any version 4.0 board so you only need one of those no matter how many boards you buy.   Please contact me on my website for ordering details as my inbox fills up very quickly here so I want to make sure I get the request and can get the info to you.

Hello everyone.  Just a few things I wanted to update here.

first things first, my new version of the TITO@Home board (the version 4.0 boards) release to the general public tomorrow.  They run $40 each and the flash modules to change the free play values run $10.

The second thing is that I will no longer be posting updates on the forums about the boards.  There are too many places I am trying to keep updated now as to what is going on with the project.  The website is the best place to place orders that will come to my email for the quickest ordering process.  That website is www.tito@ (http://www.tito@)home.com.  I also have a TITO@Home Facebook group that anyone can join. We share troubleshooting info if someone is having a hard time getting a board working as well as sales and updates on the project there.  For big announcements I also share those announcements to some various slot groups on Facebook, including the New Life Games page.  I hope to see everyone there in the group so we can keep spreading the word on the product.

Just an update for everyone quickly. There has been some exciting news on the TITO. I have officially released version 4.0. I have also added support for aristocrat MK6 machines with working SPC boards in them and aristocrat Gen 7 and 8 machines with software versions below 5.08 with a working spc 2.5 board in them. I am getting very close to releasing aristocrat gen 7 and 8 software version 5.08 and newer without an spc board. There is one part I am waiting on to be able to finish testing that part of the setup and then support can be added for that.

No. The s+ was before Tito communications were a thing so it doesn’t know how to communicate like the newer machines do.
