Title: Sizzlin 7s - s2000 igt - setting confusion
Post by: Rosewood on December 23, 2023, 05:49:18 PM
Just got first slot machine for Christmas and really confused lol.

It is a Sizzlin 7s 3 reel s2000. No coin option. It has ticket in and out. When we ordered it we asked for a few options that I can’t figure out.

1. They said there would be a button you hit twice to get free credits but I tried every button and none of them provide credits. I thought it was probably service button but it doesn’t do it either.

2. When we try to print a ticket for cash out it just defaults to hand pay.

I’ve looked through the forums and it sounds like maybe it wasn’t programmed right before being sent to us? I really have no idea what I’m doing lol. From what I read on here it makes me think it should have been programmed at the seller with something called a key chip? When we go into the settings by turning the key on the side it only gives us options for:
1. Accounting
2. (Don’t remember this one)
4. Tests

So it’s missing 3, 5, 6, 7.

What I’ve read is it’s supposed to give those option numbers right?

Any help would be really appreciated. And if it is a key chip issue what key chip is required and where is best place to buy?

To enter the full menu.  No credits on the machine, open the door and press the small button on the mpu.

It sounds like they didn't install the TITO board or didn't properly set up the machine for it.  With a TITO board installed you have the option to add credits using the service/change button.  You will also be able to print and then use a ticket as well.  Post a picture of the interior of the machine and we can tell you if there's one there or not.  Pictures have to be less than 1MB in size to post, so resize as necessary.

Nice pictures, thanks.  The TITO board is installed and appears to be connected properly.  It's the board attached to the bottom right side of the cabinet and gets power from the convenience outlet from the power distribution box to the left of it.

The machine options probably weren't set up correctly to support it.  Some of those settings will require keying the machine and you need Key 45 for the MPU you have installed in it.  Member RB here can set you up with that.
