Title: Phototransistors or photodiodes?
Post by: Stayouttadabunker on January 04, 2024, 10:46:56 AM
Trying to construct some door optics...have to go shopping.
The door emitters & cabinet receiver optics they installed in the S+'s and S2000's are _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ , and their wavelengths are measured at _ _ _ _ _nm.
I can't seem to find this info in any of my literature...what did they use?  :scratch-head_3: :scratch-head_2:
Thanks in advance!  :cool_thumb_up:

Something like these should work. The wavelength doesn't matter if you were replacing them in pairs. The form is slightly different but these would be less touchy about door alignment than the more directional ones IGT uses.  Just a thought.

Those are the kind of similar to the ones I've been looking at.
I will take a chance and try them out.
 :thankyou:
