Here is a restoration project I did a few years ago that I wanted to share. The machine looked like it had been on the bottom of the sea for some time, pretty rusty. I needed to completely strip and repaint.

The battery backed up RAM chip also had a flat battery, these chips have an internal battery built in. I just filed the top of the chip down to get to the battery contacts then connected an external battery.

Lot of hard work but it paid off, I love this game.
