So I'll just say that swapping game makes an S+ machine much more entertaining depending on the mood. I love my Double Diamond Deluxe but sometimes I just want to play something else.
As previously indicated I managed to fix another MPU board and I installed a 5 line Red White and Blue 95% chip on it. I also obtained a set of reels that already had the needed strips so I just had to swap the board and the reels and I was all set. To make up for the payline glass I simply used a wet erase marker on the outside to draw the additional paylines.
I love how modular these systems are. Makes for a lot more fun without buying a bunch of individual slot machines.
PS: The tray knob for my second MPU board is loose...as if its been slightly unscrewed. Any ideas how to tighten it down?

The knob is held to the tray via a small screw.
Simply turning the knob clockwise should tighten it unless the threads are stripped out.
Have fun changing out games!
Be careful upon pulling the trays out of the motherboard socket.
They can be somewhat difficult to pull upwards.
Brace yourself so that you only pull straight upwards so you don't bang your arms against the insides of the machine.
Steel hurts against human skin...lol

Yea the threads must be stripped as it won't tighten down. Ah well. And yea I've gotten the hang of pulling the board. Have some experience with similar equipment so I was ready for how it releases.

I know! It's a good thing they have slotted the tray board about a quarter inch into the tray box or
people would be slamming their body parts up into the reel shelf! :rotfl:
