Is there any way to clear user credits when there are no coins in the hopper? Im trying to setup my machine at home and would like to be able to clear the credits when there is no money in the hopper. Also i just did a rest on my machine to fix the 60-1 loop. what settings are recommended for that. I have a 25c machine and want to change it to 5c i have the set chip is there any hardware that needs to be changes in the hopper?

Pull the cmos chip for 10 seconds and replace
You will get the 61 and will have to clear it.

oh wow is that the only way? i want oe be able to do this easily just in case it happens again

you would have to change the denom decal on the reel glass, and change out the shelf wheel in the hopper. the 25 cent encoder will probably work just fine. also have to change the sample coin in the cc-16 and reprogram the denomination for the bill unit.
