Title: E2279-10 e2000 progressive worth buying?
Post by: Wackyracer on March 14, 2024, 05:51:47 AM
I have a chance to buy a well used E2279-10, 4 reel with progressive that is stuck in tilt, a bunch of lights are also out. Has been this way for years, comes with a wooden stand/cabinet. What is it worth?

The E2 series was a nightmare. Don't pay much. Parts are really hard to find. Good luck.

If you are very handy with electronics, maybe. Otherwise no.

Most likely the reason it is stuck in tilt is because the progressive
parameters need to be programmed correctly.

The battery is probably dead and will need to be replaced
before you can program it.

This is something I found on the web, don't recall where,
so credit goes to the original writer Mark;

Sorry the format is screwed up.
