Title: V7217PT Won’t clear

Used chip VI P10

Seemed like eprom and ram cleared.

Machine asked for all settings, then said to remove clear chip and return dipswitches.

When I did, same saferam corrupted message appeared.

Tried a debug chip.  Same error.

The top fuse keeps popping as well.

Any correlation?

Should I try a different board, mains, or chase down short first?

I taped down the popping fuse, and the machine does clear.  Touchscreen is not functioning.

Any thoughts on how hat would pop the first fuse?
