I have a upright trimline game and ’door open m’ notification won’t go away. I have replaced door switches and I/O card but the problem remains. Any ideas?
-
Could you show us how you connected the wires to the cherry switches?
-
Is it a stepper or video slot machine? I'm going to move it to the AVP section, but want to put it in the right forum there.

Video game…

Here's some background... the game worked ok in the past and suddenly it's giving 'door open m' notification although main door is closed. Door switches have been replaced but the problem still remains. The wires to switches should be in same order than before. :Scratch-Head:

While looking at the screen, push both cherry switches in with your other hand to see if they change anything onscreen.
I'm going to guess the last two tabs on the second right-most switch are for the interior Service light?
Because on the cherry switch tabs, they are in the normally-closed position.
The service light works opposite of the door sensors - which are in the normally-open position.
When the door is closed, the light turns off.
Looking at the other two pairs, those appear to be in the normally-open position - looks right.
-
Pushing the buttons by hand doesn't do anything, door open notification still remains on the screen.
-
At the very least, the Service light should have gone ON/OFF?
Are there door optics on your machine as well? :Scratch-Head:
-
That's my thought, that the optics are bad, not adjusted properly. Also could be a BV switch, upper door switch, etc.
IGT likes to load those cabinets with a buttload of door switches that don't really achieve anything other than headaches.

This mentioned game doesn't have service light or even the socket where the bulb goes... I cannot see any optics. As mentioned I/O has been changed with working one, but that didin't solve this issue. Is there something I should check example from distributor board (#7583000)?

If you can press the Diagnostic button, you should be able to get there, and perform some button/sensor tests?
