i closed out another post that questioned dbv200 software/firmware issues. I have a good working dbv200 - that works fine in a 10mhz game - when I try to use it in a game with a 16mhz board - the bills reject - some wait for a few seconds others immediate. The 16mhz board has the SP1146 which is type 2 for 16mhz board and uses ID023. Bill head has all bit swx OFF. Transport is good - bill box is good - all components work in other games - only fly in ointment 16 mhz cpu. YES I have 10 mhz boards - would love to find a use for the 16 mhz boards i have.

couldn't wait so I went ahead and used a 10mhz board and sp1274 for the haywire 2c - and voila - the bv works. so there is a diff with or I have a problem 16mhz board.

BUMP - Still get the same issue with 16mhz boards vs 10hmz with DBV200s - this time i am using the SP1272 and bills cycle but reject. use a 10mhz board same SS and SP1271 bills accept - the psr for the sp1272 only says ID023.
