I have a couple Bally gamemaker multi game it calls for a key chip to change some setting how do I obtain a key chip

Do you mean Game King?
A Gamemaker did not need that chip.

like to make it just a penny game and few other setting its telling me I need a key chip I am not real familiar with this type of game always take it to someone trying to see if maybe I can avoid take it to someone

It sounds like you are wanting to do a full reset or as they call it on this site, a "ram clear". This will reset the machine and allow you to go through the initial setup again. To do this, you will need a "clear card" or "clear chip". If you can post a picture of your machine for verification, perhaps someone may have one they can spare / sell, or if it's the right type of machine, there are vendors on the site here that sell them.
Once you have the card (chip), its a fairly straightforward process with a few settings you can change in there for denomination and game play.

A Gamemaker does need a clear chip though.

sorry was trying to get pic. off phone to computer was having trouble doing that when i email pic. to tech. he started helping me immediately thanks for advice
