Just loaded transmissive Wonka in a bb2 cab, locks up with top box comm error. I guess its looking for a control board for the top box surround. Anyone know if there is a work around, or do I need to find the correct controller? Also, I have an incomplete top box surround, pretty much just the plastic, if anyone has any parts for it or a complete one, please pm me.

A TSE board should do the trick. It works on BB2 LOTR Tranny games (and all other 'top box' games).
I have a few extra TSEs but need to find the harnesses or make them. Will update asap if interested, just let me know.

I have a tse, never hooked one into a bb2 cab before. Looks like the harness would have to be different than one for a bb1.

In the end, I really would like to have the lighting work properly on the top box surround. Prob is finding all the components.

No, same harness. You only use it to cheat and not to run the top monitor. (although you can run the top screen with it, like Hitchcock.)
Plug it in and at least you will be able to play the game while you hunt for the OEM Wonka goods.

Hook all of the normal plugs up to the TSE and hook the large plug to J21 on the backplane.
If you have something plugged into J21 unplug it and plug in the cable from the TSE.
