Please go to last post...
I have been told that "KISS" would be better with a WMS BOSE sound chair. I'd like to find out...
I'm looking to collect a chair or the pieces to put one together. I have seen Amps around missing the cables. Got cables? Are the cables the hard-to-find part?
At this point I got nothing. All I have left to locate is:
Amp to Cabinet [internal] harness (NEP 219773-01, HD-014842-01-00 REV.1 ) Found
AMP to WMS Sound Chair harness (NEP 219496-01, HD-014768-00-00 Rev. 1)
Sound Chair Amp Found
Chair with BOSE speakers Found
See anything I am missing?
Got anything you want to part with?
*note I stole the Amp and Cable pics from the NLG Archives. Thanks to the OP to help me describe what I am looking for...

If you should find the chair this guy is selling the speaker covers that usually get pretty messed up from the casinos. I bought one from him and now my chair looks new.

Most current need are the 2 harnesses in original post above. If you have the pin-out information i can probably build a harness. Anything is helpful.
It looks like I'll be collecting this one piece at at time if I need to. Thanks for looking...

Got a orphaned WMS box on the shelf marked 3-D Audio Chair Kit A-25900, I'm your buyer...

Hope you find one.
It’s great

Still looking for parts or complete...
I located the chair amp. There are 2 harnesses, I'd like to find either.
Thanks for stopping by...

I am so close I can hear it...
The only piece I need to make it work is the harness from the Amp to the front of the chair.
Got one in your box of cables? Help a guy out? Even a pin out would help. The connector on the front of the chair is unique but I am fine swapping it out with a Molex connector.
Thanks...
Not important but there is also a bracket that attaches the front of the chair sled to the slot stand. I can fabricate something if I have to...

Bump
Reward for pin out info too...
I am getting closer...

I would call some of the dealers on the home page.
Failing that there is always https://na.suzohapp.com

Hello I had a sound chair at one time this is what I used to make a harness these are the wires for the amp to machine Hope it Helps

I have been banging on doors Jay... thanks...
Bondo...I have the harness from the amp to the machine. Do you have anything from the amp to the chair? There is a 18 pin connector coming out of the amp and a 30 pin connector on the front of the chair. 12 pins on the chair side are blank.
I appreciate the help!!!

These pics help?

These pics help?
Yes they do, Thanks Matt... :cool_thumb_up:
I ordered up the Molex connectors, I am going to bypass the connector on the front of the chair and make my harness hook into the 2 Molex connectors in the base. I mapped out the wires as best I can with the pics I collected so far. These will help confirm that my efforts look close, thanks.
There are 18 wires. 2 are 12 volt and 2 are 3 volt. The rest are sound/speaker as far as I can tell. I have everything apart and spread out in the shop. If I can find the time this weekend I'll try to make a cable and see if anything smokes...
Thanks to all for all the help...

BBT ... been a while. Anyone come into a stash of BB2 stuff and any chair pieces?
-
Just make your OWN harness. Here's the INPUT of the chairs: (See photo)
You guys can use this INPUT chart if you have a WMS chair connected to you IGT or Bally game too.
HARVS pictures show you where the "colors" go into the Amps Molex OUTPUT connector.
Hope this helps!

So the thing I missed is the jumper to let the amp realize a chair is present. Being I showed power/voltage there I left that connector empty. I dug a little deeper in the chair and my 6-pin connector also goes no where, made that cable for nothing. I'll try again this weekend...

Most commercial amplifiers require an output load be present to prevent damage to the amplifer. Guitar and Hi-Output car audio amplifers are good examples. The trigger line on old external car audio amps was sometimes called “remote powerâ€. The amplifer had no output unless there was a voltage present on the trigger line. I suspect the Williams Chair amp is of a similar design.
Be warned; as soon as you experience how cool (and comfy) sound chairs are, you’re going to want them on ALL your machines!! :drool04:

Just seeing if you ever got your chairs working... I picked up two AGS chairs and am trying to make a harness like you did. It's a bit tricky I'm discovering...

Just making an additional harness to get my KISS chairs going and noted one discrepancy between the real cable and your diagram I was wondering about. On your Plug1 schematic you have pin 4 blue and pin 8 black/grey stripe. The actual cable has pin 1 black/grey stripe and pin 5 blue. I'm not able to post an attached picture.

1)what amps can be used for either Kiss slot? I have the 18 pin output version currently finishing harness but that is the older amp version I'm told. Looking to buy the newer WMS amp with 20 pin output but looking for the schematic of how the 20 pins are keyed (18 pin version is shown above in this thread).
2) how is the older (and possibly newer version) amp installed in the BB2? I don't have the brackets so not sure where these could be obtained, what they even look like, or how to place the amp inside the BB2 cabinet. Looking for recommendations.

1] so there are 2 different chair amps for the BB2? What's the difference in them?
2] you don't need to be politically correct, MacGyver it...

So I have one of my KISS chairs finally wired up and working. However for the other one, I purchased a different WMS amp than the one discussed here in the thread with 20 pin out to chair rather than 18 and 8 pin in rather than 6 pin in.
I can'tbseem to attach pictures but there is one on eBay right now
