Title: Found this from a Bally 952A - Now Reels just "clunk"

1st Post.  Great site.  Found this loose in a 952A.  The spring is about 2" long.  Anyone have any idea where it goes?  When the machine is pulled, it just clunks.

Looks like the one in the attached picture?
If so a piece of the spring is missing.
