Title: Bally S5500 Clear Chips not working

I bought some clear clips of eBay for my S5500. They don't seem to do anything. I can do a clear without changing them but when I put the clear chips in nothing happens. Did I get bad clear chips? I am having a hard time getting my DBV to work. Anyone know of someone that I could pay for on phone help to get this figured out.

Have you tried the SRAM JMPR option to clear the board?
99% of the time clear chips are not needed.
If you do a DIP switch change a clear must be done for the board to accept the change.
