Can a MK6 be converted to a mk7(viridian)?

Probably not officially, although I don't see a problem with converting an Xcite to MK7, especially if it has an LCD (although even the original CRT should still display the non-wide games fine). I probably wouldn't bother if the MK6 in question is an ex-MK5/MVP.

Yes they can, I've seen 2 in NSW Australia. Was offered one last year but game swaps too hard to get here in AU.

Yes they can be converted. I converted a couple here in South America. But it never caught on. I have manuals on how to convert them.
